For 11 months I’ve dodged a bullet. With 16 days until Ethan’s first birthday, he pee’d on me. Not one of those diaper changes gone wrong, I was actually holding him in my arms when the incident happened. The smile on his face combined with the warm sensation on my shirt made me smile. I made such a big deal about him NOT pee’ing on me. I guess it was only a matter of time.
Only with unconditional love can someone pee on you and all you can do is laugh. Well done Ethan, well done!
With only 19 days until Ethan’s Birthday. Jennifer and I decided to get him gussied up! He did well for the first 5 minutes but after awhile he’d had enough. He was so precious though. And Dad as usual was standing by with his Canon 40D with a 50m f1.8 lens to capture the moment.
The kids are now fast asleep (taking naps) while Jennifer and I decompress from the busy morning. Enjoy the photos.
Just when I thought we were in the clear, I find out another child in Ethan’s classroom has come down with the Chicken Pox. As Ethan’s birthday fast approaches I grown to think our little man “might” have the Chicken Pox on his first birthday.
On a lighter note, Mr. Ethan is walking like CRAZY! As each day passes he becomes more and more confident! He’s sleeping well (which is good for us) and he continues to be the happiest baby in the entire world!
Our little man wants to walk SOOOOOOOO bad! Ethan continues to make attempts at walking. He lets go and tries to take steps between two people or pieces of furniture but it doesn’t quite happen yet. He’s gotten good and pushing the trash can and his high chair around. We plan to take a picnic later today so I’ll most likely post some pictures from the outing later.
35 days and counting until Ethan’s first birthday!
