The joy of having a PDA. I’m actually in the labor room as I type this… At 2pm today, Jennifer’s water broke while she was at work. Shortly there after, she called the hospital and 30 minutes later she was admitted. She is 1cm and contractions are here. We’re still in the very early stages of labor. We’re remain totally excited and shocked!

Week 35.8 | With 29 days left until Emily’s due date, the crunch begins. For the most part everything’s ready but we still have a few things dangling in the wind. We’re facing the fact that no matter how much we try to prepare something will be forgotten.

This week marks the final chapter in pre-baby classes. On Wednesday WE’LL learn how to breast feed. Husbands are encouraged to attend the class. If I’m being honest, spending several hours talking about boobies sounds like fun. J <- just kidding Mom!

Mommy Update: Jennifer is starting to feel a bit uncomfortable. Emily has gotten really good at kicking her in the ribs and it’s often that I “assist” in helping Jen off the couch. She continues to glow as always. We both remain totally excited!

We continue to interview daycare providers. We’ve met some nice people so far but we’re not sure we’ve met “the one” yet.
