Little Emily has started walking!!!!!  Ok, so maybe just a few steps but that’s progress!  The fun began on May 7^th and every week since, she has gotten more and more courage to take a few more steps.  Last night was by far the most fun we’ve had. Emily walked (about 4-5 steps) between Jennifer and I.  She was so proud of herself, it was adorable!

Emily still points at everything and she tries so hard to communicate.  We read together each night.  She loves “The Bear Snores On”, “The Bear Wants More” and “Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Buss”.  I read those books so often I don’t even look at the pages anymore.  She’s amazing.

I am not sure if I’ve mentioned the pending arrival of baby #2 on this blog.  We’re expecting baby #2 in October and we got an early look to determine whether or not Emily will have a little sister or brother.  Verdicts in… It’s a Boy!  We are super excited about the thought of a little man in our house.

I know I’ve been promising to upload pictures. Well I finally delivered on that promise.  I uploaded almost 500 pictures today including photos from February, Emily’s First Birthday, Easter Sunday and more so make sure to check out the photos page.
